We had a very nice family dinner here. Very good pasta. We liked everything we ordered, our favorite was probably the sage and butter gnocchi. The anchovy pasta was too salty for my taste. Good service. The menu is short and in Italian only but the staff can explain the dishes in english. Great value for money. They have AC.

A rustic and informal place to eat, the food was delicious and the price was adequate for the service. Recommended if you want to eat a good and typical meal in Asolo.

Osteria Al Bacaro is located in Asolo, in the province of Treviso. It is a historical school and perhaps for this reason a bit cramped :). Ideal for a meeting with friends, an informal business dinner or simply to break up the visit of Asolo by tasting some typical dishes. The taste of food brings with it the tradition and authenticity of the territory. Good quality, adequate quantity. Attentive and friendly staff.

This restaurant is full of character from the lace doilys on light fittings to the old photographs and paintings, and utensils hanging from the ceiling. The food is very authentic and full of flavour, the crusty bread is fresh and tasty. Recommend you try the honey Panna Cotta for dessert. We were also fortunate to try some herb infused grappa at the end of the night. The first and staff are very generous and friendly. You must try this restaurant when you are in Asolo to see for yourself!

Polenta with melted cheese and gnocchi with tomatoes sauce were tasty. Good local sparkling white wine: Grela. Outdoor sitting on a terrace located in front of the restaurant. The staff is friendly, the coffee tasty and very good ratio between prices, quality and quantity

After visiting the villa at Masaré I was looking for somewhere to have dinner and found this osteria not far off in Asolo. Let me start by saying that Asolo is listed among Italy's most beautiful villages so visiting is a must. But then entering Osteria al Bacaro you're very much transported back in time. Filled with antiquities, and an interior design that reflects a long-gone era, I couldn't wait to dine. Staff is welcoming and friendly as I waited for dinner service to start I ordered a spritz with some cicchetti. The menu offers authentic regional cuisine. I opted for gnocchi with mozzarella affumicata a generous serving and very delicious and as a second course I had coniglio (rabbit) e polenta, again a generous portion perfectly cooked. But the star of the meal for me was the Prosecco. Fair enough that these are the Prosecco hills but this is THE BEST glass of Prosecco I have ever had in my life, and I say that as someone born and bred in Veneto, so I had more than my fair share of Prosecco. It was so, so, so crisp and smooth, chilled to the perfect temperature... I could have easily had more. Sadly as I had to drive later, I could not have more. Next time I'll come with someone else driving and I will drink to my heart's content. Worth coming here just for the Prosecco.
